January 29 (SeeNews) - The Bulgarian Stock Exchange blue-chip SOFIX index extended its losing run to seven consecutive sessions as investors started weighing the incoming financial statements for 2019.
The SOFIX closed 0.27% lower at 576.51 points on Wednesday.
Financial leasing company Elana Agrocredit [BUL:0EA] led decliners among SOFIX members, losing 1.74% to 1.13 levs. Financial group Eurohold [BUL:4EH] and heavyweight Sopharma [BUL:3JR] followed with decreases of 1.32% and 0.86%, respectively.
The three companies also led decliners among members of the BGTR30 index, which lost 0.10% to 523.11 points on Wednesday.
The wider BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, slid 0.19% to 113.26 points, Industrial Capital Holding [BUL:4I8] shares dropped 4% to 1.92 levs.
The BGREIT index, which tracks real estate investment trusts, rose 0.17% to 134.85 points.
Total regulated market trading turnover amounted to some 540,000 levs.
