March 31 (SeeNews) - The Bulgarian Stock Exchange blue-chip SOFIX index closed 0.17% lower at 419.35 points on Tuesday, marking its fourth consecutive losing session.
Diversified group Holding Varna [BUL:5V2] fell most among blue chips, falling 2.56% to 38 levs after just 1 share in the company changed hands during the trading session. Other notable decliners were Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:6A6] and drug maker Sopharma [BUL:3JR], which lost 1.85% and 1.05%, respectively.
The wider BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, increased 1.05% to 90.38 points, while the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, gained 1.27% to 436.89 points.
Both indices were supported by a 26.67% jump in the share price of financial and insurance group Eurohold Bulgaria [BUL:4EH].
The BGREIT index, which tracks real estate investment trusts, fell 0.42% to 125.07 points.
Total regulated market trading turnover amounted to 499,000 levs ($280,000/255,000 euro) on Tuesday.
