March 2 (SeeNews) - The Bulgarian Stock Exchange's blue-chip SOFIX index ended a three-day winning streak after closing 0.64% lower at 546.75 points on Monday.
Diversified groups Doverie United Holding [BUL:5DOV] and Holding Varna [BUL:5V2] led decliners among SOFIX members, dropping 5.56% and 4.50%, respectively. On Friday, Doverie United Holding reported a surge in its 2019 consolidated net profit to 189.8 million levs, compared to a profit of 1.9 million levs the year before. Holding Varna has not yet released its 2019 consolidated figures.
Other notable decliners among blue chips on Monday were software group Sirma Group Holding [BUL:SKK] and lender First Investment Bank [BUL:5F4], which erased 4.17% and 2.17%, respectively.
The wider BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, decreased 0.37% to 109.01 points, while the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, fell 0.62% to 504.11 points.
The BGREIT index, which tracks real estate investment trusts, gained 0.18% to 136.63 points.
Total regulated market turnover amounted to 506,000 levs on Monday.
