January 21 (SeeNews) - The Bulgarian Stock Exchange blue-chip SOFIX index closed 0.08% lower at 585.28 points on Tuesday, as diversified group Holding Varna [BUL:5V2] led decliners among blue chips.
Holding Varna shares closed 2.05% lower at 38.2 levs following three small deals for a total volume of 61 shares.
Other notable losers among SOFIX members on Tuesday were local group Chimimport [BUL:6C4] and its unit Central Cooperative Bank (CCB) [BUL:4CF], which lost 1.76% and 1.54%, respectively.
The BGREIT index, which tracks real estate investment trusts, continued breaking records, closing 0.22% higher at an all-time high of 134.83 points on Tuesday. This is the BGREIT's 12th record-high close set so far this year.
The wider BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, fell 0.02% to 114.73 points, while the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, increased 0.15% to 527.28 points.
Total daily regulated market turnover amounted to some 268,000 levs.
