October 27 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip SOFIX index of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) rose 0.65% to 575.61 points on Wednesday, backed by gains in financial and energy group Eurohold Bulgaria [BUL:EUBG] which appreciated 7.77%, bourse data showed.
As many as 500 Eurohold shares traded at an average price of 2.2057 levs on the floor of the Sofia bourse on Wednesday.

The BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the BSE, declined 0.10% to 132.63 points, dragged down mainly by a 4.07% drop in the shares of battery manufacturer Monbat [BUL:MONB].
Monbat's loss also weighed on the BGTR30 index in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight. The index fell 0.24% to 644.05 points.
On Tuesday, Monbat said that its consolidated pre-tax profit from ongoing operations increased by an annual 74% in the first nine months of 2021, reaching 17.6 million levs ($10.4 million/9.0 million euro).
The BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, closed Wednesday's trading session 0.04% higher at 160.44 points, mainly due to a 1.11% increase in the share price of Advance Terrafund [BUL:ATER].
Total turnover on the bourse's main market rose to 2.1 million levs on Wednesday from 812,676 levs on Tuesday.
The most traded company on Wednesday was IoT products developer Allterco [BUL:A4L]. A total of 38,947 shares in the company changed hands 0.55% lower at an average price of 17.7502 levs, contributing 691,300 levs to the daily turnover. On Monday Allterco said that the company's board of directors approved plans to establish a wholly-owned subsidiary in Germany.
