February 28 (SeeNews) - The Bulgarian Stock Exchange's blue-chip SOFIX index rose by 0.28% to 550.25 points on Friday, as Doverie United Holding [BUL:5DOV] advanced the most among its members, bourse data showed.
Doverie United Holding's share price increased by 15.6% to 6.30 levs ($3.53/3.22 euro), helping keep the SOFIX in green territory, as it compensated for a significant drop in the share price of software group Sirma Group Holding [BUL:SKK] - of 10.28%.
Among members of the wider BGBX40 index and the equally-weighted BGTR30 index, Severcoop Gamza Holding [BUL:6S4] was on top of the gainers' list as its shares rose by 16.28%, even more than those of Doverie United Holding, which was second. Backed by the gains of the two companies, the BGBX40 added 0.21% to 109.41 points, while the BGTR30 advanced 1.06% to 507.27 points.
Sirma Group Holding led losers among members of both indexes.
The BGREIT index, which tracks real estate investment trusts, increased 1.19% to 136.39 points, as the share price of Aktiv Properties REIT [BUL:5AX] rose further, by 32.18%. The REIT recorded a 12.26% rise during the previous trading session.
Total regulated market turnover soared to 2.3 million levs on Friday, from 779,000 levs on Thursday. Hotel operator Albena [BUL:6AB] contributed the largest single part of the total - some 413,000 levs.
