November 2 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip SOFIX index of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) increased by 1.19% to 590.22 points on Tuesday, mostly supported by a 4.51% rise in the shares of diversified group Doverie United Holding [BUL:DUH], bourse data showed.
As many as 23,336 shares in Doverie United Holding traded at an average price of 7.7738 levs on the floor of the Sofia bourse on Tuesday.
Doverie United Holding also led gainers among members of the BGTR30 index in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight. The index added 0.60% to 656.21 points.
Doverie United Holding was the most traded company on Tuesday. A total of 23,336 shares in the company changed hands at an average price of 7.7738 levs, contributing about 181,409 levs ($107,600/92,800 euro) to the daily turnover.
Total turnover on the bourse's main market decreased to 984,918 levs on Tuesday from 1.3 million levs in the previous trading session.
The BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the BSE, went up 1.00% to 135.72 points, backed by venture capital (VC) firm Eleven Capital [BUL:11C] which saw its share price increase by 6.30%.
The BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, closed 0.10% lower at 163.06 points due to a 0.91% drop in the shares of Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT [BUL:BREF].
