June 10 (SeeNews) - The Bulgarian Stock Exchange BGREIT index, which tracks real estate investment trusts, started the week with an all-time high of 123.12 points, backed by a rise in the share price of Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT (BREF) [BUL:5BU].
The BGREIT gained 0.51%, or 0.63 points, on Monday exceeding its previous all-time high of 122.73 points set last week.
BREF shares ended the session 1.98% higher at 2.06 levs, extending their gains so far this month to 6.2%. On May 31, BREF announced that its has signed a six-year agreement with Robert Bosch Bulgaria for the lease of 2,749 sq. m. of its building in Sofia Tech Park, which is currently under construction.
The other contributor to the BGREIT rise on Monday was its biggest member by market capitalisation - Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:6A6], which added 0.53% to a closing price of 1.90 levs.
The blue-chip SOFIX index closed 0.85% higher at 581.37 points, backed by a 2.94% rise in the share price of software group Sirma Group Holding [BUL:SKK].
Other major gainers among SOFIX members on Monday were drug maker Sopharma [BUL:3JR] and poultry producer Gradus [BUL:GR6], which added 2.35% and 1.98%, respectively.
Sirma Group Holding also led gainers among the wider BGBX40 and the equally-weighted BGTR30.
The BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the stock exchange in Sofia, advanced 0.53% to 115.52 points, while the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, added 0.36% to 504.80 points.
Total regulated market turnover dropped to 236,000 levs ($136,000/121,000 euro) on Monday from 962,000 levs on Friday
