December 17 (SeeNews) - The BGREIT index, which tracks real estate investment trusts listed on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange, gained 1.11% on Monday, hitting an all-time high of 119.34 points at the end of the session.
The BGREIT set its previous high, of 118.52 points, in August 2017.
Super Borovetz Property Fund REIT [BUL:6SB] rose most among its peers on Monday, posting a 6.25% increase to 2.04 levs.
The other REIT gainers on Monday were Balkan and Sea Properties REIT [BUL:5H4] and Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:6A6], which added 1.91% and 0.51%, respectively.
The blue-chip SOFIX index closed 0.28% higher at 591.24 points, backed by a 3.83% rise in the share price of diversified group Holding Varna [BUL:5V2].
Holding Varna was also the main gainer among constituents of the other two major indices on the BSE - the BGBX40 and the BGTR30.
The BGBX40, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, added 0.22% to 115.22 points, while the BGTR30, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, rose 0.10% to 495.06 points.
Regulated market turnover fell sharply to 640,000 levs ($371,000/327,000 euro) on Monday from 2.2 million levs on Friday.
