November 1 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip SOFIX index of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange extended its losing streak to three sessions, after a 2.24% drop in share price of Central Cooperative Bank (CCB) [BUL:4CF] dragged the index down on Thursday.
The SOFIX edged down 0.04% to 596.58 points, as CCB shares closed at 1.53 levs - their lowest close since April 5, 2017.
Drug maker Sopharma [BUL:3JR] posted the second sharpest drop among blue-chips, losing 0.80% to 3.74 levs, followed by diversified grop Chimimport [BUL:6C4] - majority owner of CCB, which ended 0.50% lower at 2.0 levs.
The only other blue-chip decliner on Thursday was Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:6A6] with a 0.26% decreased to 1.935 levs.
The drop in Advance Terrafund shares was enough to send the BGREIT index in red territory. The BGREIT index, which tracks the performance of real estate investment trusts (REITs), fell 0.04% to 117.18 points, as Advance Terrafund was the only decliner among its constituents.
The wider BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, lost 0.11% to 116.90 points. Chemical fertiliser producer Neochim [BUL:3NB] fell most among BGBX40 constituents, losing 4.15% to 37.0 levs.
The BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, edged down 0.12% to 498.74 points on Thursday.
Total trading turnover on the regulated market of the bourse fell to 208,000 levs ($121,200/106,300 euro) on Thursday from 638,700 levs on Wednesday.
