December 10 (SeeNews) - The Bulgarian Stock Exchange blue-chip SOFIX index ended its three-day winning streak after closing 0.32% lower at 546.07 points on Tuesday.
The index was hurt by a 6.16% plunge in the share price of financial and insurance group Eurohold Bulgaria [BUL:4EH], which ended the session at 1.37 levs. Eurohold Bulgaria have been in a free fall ever since the country's competition regulator banned its 335 million euro deal to acquire the local assets of Czech energy group CEZ. Both Eurohold and CEZ have appealed the regulator's decision before court.
The wider BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, fell 0.23% to 108.55 points, while the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, slid 0.04% to 494.63 points.
The BGREIT index, which tracks the performance of real estate investment trusts, lost 0.09% to 130.73 points on Tuesday, after setting a new all time high on Monday.
Total daily regulated market turnover rose to some 326,000 levs on Tuesday from 267,000 levs on Monday.
