April 2 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian competition regulator said on Monday that car dealerships Sofia Auto Bulgaria and Bulvaria Holding sought its approval to set up a joint venture company.
The joint venture will be active in the import and sale of cars under the OPEL brand and spare parts, as well as in the provision of repair services, the regulator said in the statement.

Under the joint venture deal the two companies will discontinue offering those services as those rights will be transferred to the joint venture company.
The deal is expected to impact the country's market for new cars, spare parts and authorised repair services, the regulator added.
