July 9 (SeeNews) - Slovenian home premium products retailer Vitapur opened its first store in Romania and plans to open 19 more in the next three years, its exclusive real estate local partner Cushman & Wakefield Echinox said on Monday.
The 120 sq m store is located in the Mega Mall shopping center in Bucharest, Cushman & Wakefield Echinox said in a press release.
The company intends to expand further in Bucharest, and then in major cities in the country.
"The strategic plan includes the opening of at least 19 Vitapur stores in the next three years on the territory of Romania," Ad Vita Group managing director Andrej Podgorsek said. Ad Vita Group owns the Vitapur brand.
Vitapur currently has a network of approximately 90 stores in shopping centres and galleries in Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Austria.
Cushman & Wakefield Echinox is the exclusive affiliate of Cushman & Wakefield in Romania. The retail department of the company leased 2017 spaces with a cumulated surface of over 20,000 square meters in retail projects in Bucharest and the country.
