May 27 (SeeNews) - Slovenian blue-chip hand tools manufacturer Unior [LJE:UKIG] recorded a consolidated net profit of 7.2 million euro ($7.7 million) in the first quarter of 2022, up from 3.9 million euro in the like period of last year, it said on Friday.
Unior achieved 73.2 million euro in net sales, 16% more than in the first quarter of 2021, the company said in a statement with the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE).
Earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) rose 76.6% to 7.7 million euro, while earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) grew 38% to 12.2 million euro, Unior said.
Unior's shares traded at 10.30 euro, down 3.0%, by 1231 CET on Tuesday on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange.
