November 30 (SeeNews) - Slovenian hand tools manufacturer Unior [LJE:UKIG] said on Friday that its consolidated net profit, excluding minority interest, fell to 8.7 million euro ($9.9 million) in the January-September period of 2018 from 11.6 million euro in the same period of last year.
The group's net profit, including interest attributable to minority shareholders in Unior's subsidiaries, decreased to 11.4 million euro in the first nine months of the year from 14.9 million levs in the comparable period of last year, figures from the company's interim financial report showed.
Unior's total consolidated operating revenue increased to 193.5 million euro in the review period from 184.4 million euro the year before.
The group spent 82.8 million euro on materials in the period under review, up from 72.3 million euro a year earlier, while expenses for hired services declined to 24.5 million euro from 25.6 million euro last year.
The company's labour costs rose to 52.6 million euro from 49.9 million euro the year before.
