July 18 (SeeNews) - Slovenian hotel operator Union hoteli [LJE: GHUG] has said it now holds 10,811 of its own shares, representing 0.6027% of the company's issued share capital.
On July 17, Union hoteli repurchased 3,383 own shares, representing 0.1886% of its own capital, at 18.5 euro (21.5 euro) apiece, the company said in a filing with the Ljubljana Stock Exchange on Tuesday.
The company invested a total of 1.794 million euro to buy back the shares, which will be offered to employees as part of their remuneration scheme, Union hoteli said.
Union hoteli group operates the Grand Hotel Union, the Grand Hotel Union Business, the Hotel Lev and the Central Hotel, located in the centre of Slovenia's capital Ljubljana.
