March 31 (SeeNews) - Slovenia recorded the lowest seasonally-adjusted jobless rate among EU member states in Southeast Europe (SEE) in February, at 3.2%, Eurostat said on Friday.
In contrast, Greece had the second-highest unemployment rate in the EU in February, at 11.4%, preceded only by Spain with 12.8%, the EU's statistical office said in a monthly data release.
Elsewhere in SEE, Croatia also recorded a jobless rate above the bloc's average of 6%, at 6.3%.
All countries in the region saw yearly declines in their unemployment rates in February, with Greece marking the most significant one, at 1.6 percentage points.
