LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), April 24 (SeeNews) – Slovenia's asset management company Triglav Skladi, a Triglav Group member, said on Wednesday it has become owner of its peer ALTA Skladi after obtaining all relevant authorisations of the competent regulatory bodies for the acquisition.
In September, Triglav Skladi said it signed an agreement with ALTA Skupina for the acquisition of 100% interest in ALTA Skladi for 21.7 million euro ($24.4 million).

Through its two asset management companies – Triglav Skladi and ALTA Skladi – Triglav Group is becoming the leading provider of mutual funds in the Slovene market by holding a 34% market share, Triglav said in a Ljubljana bourse filing.
“It [Triglav] manages assets worth over 930 million euro in a total of 36 mutual funds, while total assets under management, including discretionary mandate assets, amount close to 1 billion euro,” the company said, adding that its asset management services are provided to more than 120,000 clients, including small investors, large individual clients, legal entities and institutional investors.
By acquiring ALTA Skladi, Triglav Group further strengthens its assets management activity, which is its second strategic business pillar in addition to insurance, Triglav said, adding that the higher volume of assets under management, the higher number of clients, to whom the group provides its quality and comprehensive services, and the synergistic effects of the increased volume of business are a reliable basis for additional effective development of the group’s asset management business.
