March 29 (SeeNews) - Slovenia's biggest insurer, Zavarovalnica Triglav [LJE:ZVTG], plans to distribute a gross dividend of 2.50 euro ($2.71) per share for 2022, it said.
The company is proposing a dividend payout of 56.8 million euro, representing 50% of its consolidated net profit and a 6% yield, it said in a filing with the Ljubljana Stock Exchange on Tuesday.
"We are pleased to be able to propose an attractive dividend to shareholders, which still enables the Triglav Group to achieve medium-term sustainable financial stability, further growth and development," Triglav board president Andrej Slapar said.
Zavarovalnica Triglav paid a gross dividend of 3.70 euro per share for 2021.
Triglav Group saw its consolidated net profit fall 2% to 110.2 million euro in 2022.
