Terme Catez did not reveal the identity of the buyer, nor the value of the transaction.
According to Slovenian media reports, the buyer is local company Luka Lucija owned by the Slovenian investment fund Cirus 1, managed by Jonatan Mars. Public broadcaster RTV reported that Marina Portoroz was sold for a price of between 15 million euro ($18 million) and 20 million euro.
In May, local media reported that Terme Catez had failed to sell Marina Portoroz to local companies Adventure Holding and Glen, after their sales and purchase agreement expired in October 2019 and the subsequent negotiations failed over disagreement on the sale price.
