Last year, Piran municipality used its right of first refusal to block the sale of the complex, featuring 13 clay courts, 4 hard courts, two covered hard courts, and a 1,600-seat tennis stadium, for a total of 4.6 million euro to an undisclosed Croatian buyer.
The tennis complex has been closed since November when Terme Catez decided not to renew the lease agreement with the operator, Tenis Center Portoroz.
