August 2 (SeeNews) - Slovenia's SKB Group, part of French banking group Societe Generale, said on Thursday its first-half consolidated net profit increased 9.3% on the year to 24.4 million euro ($28.4 million).
SKB Group's net interest income rose 7.5% on the year to 41.0 million euro in the first six months of 2018, while net non-interest income dropped by an annual 7.2% to 14.7 million euro, it said in a statement.
The cost of provisions and impairments jumped 75.1% to 3.7 million euro and net banking income added 3.2% to 55.7 million euro, SKB Group noted.
SKB Bank increased its market share in loans from 9.8% at the end of 2017, to 10% at the end of June 2018.
SKB Group consists of SKB Bank and SKB Leasing.
