June 14 (SeeNews) - Slovenia’s state-owned export and development bank, SID Banka, has recorded a net profit of 24 million euro ($25.1 million) in 2021, up from 8.5 million euro in the previous year, it said.
Net interest income increased to 28 million euro last year from 23.2 million euro in 2020, while net non-interest income declined to 5.7 million euro from 35.7 million euro, SID Banka said in its 2021 annual report filed with the Ljubljana bourse on Monday.
At the same time, the bank swung to profit from impairments and provisions of 16.5 million euro in 2021 from a 29.5 million euro profit in this segment in 2020.
Its total assets decreased to 2.834 billion euro at the end of 2021 from 2.907 billion euro a year earlier.
Total loans to the non-banking sector rose to 1.2 billion euro from 1.091 billion euro, whereas the deposit portfolio of the non-banking sector expanded to 987.5 million euro from 832.4 million euro, SID Banka said.
