August 31 (SeeNews) - Slovenian state-owned development bank SID Banka said on Wednesday its consolidated net profit jumped to 14.8 million euro ($16.5 million) in the first half from 4.2 million euro in the same period last year.
The lender's consolidated net interest income increased 3.9% to 13.5 million euro in January-June, while non-interest revenue soared 90% to 10.5 million euro, it said in a financial report filed with the Ljubljana Stock Exchange.
Operating costs grew 56.2% to 7.8 million euro, while impairment and provisions turned to a profit of 1.7 million euro from a loss of 6.0 million euro in the first half of 2015.
The group's total assets amounted to 2.7 billion euro at end-June, down from 3.2 billion euro at the end of 2015.
SID Banka Group employed 302 workers at end-June, down from 359 a year earlier.
