March 28 (SeeNews) - Slovenia's sovereign holding company SDH has approved the early termination of the mandate of president Lidija Glavina as of April 1, it said.
SDH appointed supervisory board chairman Igor Krzan as a member of the management board until a new president takes over, SDH said in a statement on Wednesday.
It gave no reason for its decision.
Karmen Dietner will assume the position of president of the supervisory board of SDH as of April 1, the sovereign holding said.
Glavina was named president of the management board of SDH for a term of four years in February 2017, succeeding Marko Jazbec, who had resigned.
"I am proud of my work in this institution, but the time has come to look forward to new challenges," Slovenian media quoted Glavina as saying on Wednesday.
SDH, established in 1993, is managing state-owned assets in Slovenia and runs their privatisation.
