LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), August 1 (SeeNews) – Slovenian engineering company Riko has won a tender for the construction of a 10.8 MW solar power plant in Zhytomyr, Ukraine, according to information published on Ukraine's public procurement portal ProZorro.
Riko signed a 3.85 million euro ($4.5 million) contract for the construction of the solar power plant as well as a 5.6 million euro deal for the delivery of equipment, information posted on the ProZorro portal last week showed.

The tender was carried out in July and the deadline for the delivery of products and services is December 31, 2019.
The contract for the construction of the solar power plant was signed on Wednesday at the Slovenian embassy in Ukraine, according to Ukrainian media reports.
Earlier this year, Riko won a tender launched by the World Bank for the reconstruction of the potable water pumping station in the Ukrainian city of Zhytomyr.
