February 3 (SeeNews) - Slovenian car maker Revoz, a unit of France's Renault, plans to maintain its 2023 output on the same level as last year's 68,000 vehicles, local media reported.
The orders for cars manufactured by Revoz this year are at the same level as in 2022, so the production figures will remain unchanged, Slovenian news agency STA quoted sources from Revoz as saying.
"In January, we concluded an agreement with the social partners in Revoz, which, in addition to annual leave allowance, seniority bonus, annual award for business performance, individual awards and collective additional pension insurance, also defines a salary increase," the sources said.
The gross salaries of Revoz employees were lifted by between 10.3% and 12% as of January 1, and the company intends to keep its organisational structure unchanged and will continue producing 325 vehicles per day in a single shift, STA reported.
The car maker significantly reduced production at its sole factory in Novo Mesto last year from 96,000 vehicles manufactured in 2021, which led to a reduction in workforce to 1,402 at the end of December 2022 from 2,087 a year earlier. Revoz assembles the Clio 5, Twingo EV and Twingo models at the Novo Mesto factory.
