September 28 (SeeNews) - Slovenia's retail sales grew by 4.4% on the year in August, after increasing by 2.1% in July, data from the country's statistical office showed on Friday.
On a monthly comparison basis, retail trade turnover was 1.0% higher in August, following a 0.7% decrease in July.
In 2017, Slovenia achieved retail sales growth of 8.2%, 4.2 percentage points higher than in 2016.
