November 27 (SeeNews) - Slovenia's retail sales turnover declined 1.4% on the month in October, following a 0.1% monthly drop in September, the statistical office said on Friday.
This was the third consecutive monthly decline, following a three-month growth of retail sales, the statistical office said in a statement.
In annual terms, retail sales plunged by 11.1% in October, after falling 6.9% in September, the statement read.
Retail sales were down 8.9% on the year in the first ten months of 2020.
Last year, Slovenia's retail sales increased by 3.3%, after adding 4.7% in 2018.
