July 17 (SeeNews) - The average net monthly earnings in Slovenia climbed up by a real 1.9% on the year in May, after edging down 0.2% in April, provisional data from the country's statistical office showed on Monday.
In nominal terms, the average net wage increased 3.4% year-on-year, reaching 1,050.78 euro ($1,202.9) in May, the data showed.
On a monthly comparison basis, net wages rose a real 0.5% in May, after dropping 2.0% in April.
The average gross monthly salary in Slovenia was 1,613.73 euro in May, up by a nominal 3.4% year-on-year.
In real terms, gross wages increased 1.9% year-on-year and 0.7% on the month in May, after falling 0.5% on an annual basis and 2.3% on the month in April.
