October 16 (SeeNews) - The average net monthly earnings in Slovenia increased by a real 1.6% on the year in August, after climbing by an annual 1.8% in July, provisional data from the country's statistical office showed on Monday.
In nominal terms, the average net wage increased 2.8% year-on-year, reaching 1,051.73 euro ($1,240.3) in August, the data showed.
On a monthly comparison basis, net wages rose 1.1% in real terms in August, after remaining unchanged in July.
The average gross monthly salary in Slovenia was 1,613.62 euro in August, up by a nominal 2.7% year-on-year.
