November 15 (SeeNews) - The average net monthly earnings in Slovenia increased by a real 1.6% on the year in September, after going up by a real 2.5% in August, data from the country's statistics office showed on Tuesday.
In nominal terms, the average net wage increased by 1.8% year-on-year, reaching 1,015.33 euro ($1,096.08) in September, the data showed.
On a monthly basis, net wages dropped by a real 0.9% in September, following a 1.2% growth in August.
The average gross monthly salary in the country was 1,558.29 euro in September, up by a nominal 2.1% year-on-year.
In real terms, gross wages increased 1.9% year-on-year and were 0.9% lower on the month, after increasing 2.8% on the year and 1.4% on the month in August.
