LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), March 15 (SeeNews) – The average net monthly earnings in Slovenia increased by a real 2.4% year-on-year in January, after rising by 1.2% in December, provisional figures from the national statistical office showed on Friday.
On a monthly comparison basis, the average net earnings in Slovenia fell by a real 2.9% in January, after a 2.0% drop in December.
In nominal terms, the average net wage increased 3.5% on the year to 1,115.98 euro ($1,262.28). On a monthly comparison basis, wages decreased by a nominal 4.0%.
The average gross monthly wage in Slovenia rose to 1,729.15 euro in January, up by a nominal 4.2% and a real 3.1% higher year-on-year.
