October 17 (SeeNews) - The average net monthly earnings in Slovenia jumped by a real 2.5% on the year in August, after remaining unchanged a month earlier, data from the country's statistics office showed on Monday.
In nominal terms, the average net wage increased by an equal 2.5% year-on-year, reaching 1,023.28 euro ($1,124.66) in August, the data showed.
On a monthly basis, net wages increasd by a real 1.2% in August, following a 0.1% growth in July.
The average gross monthly salary in the country was 1,571.30 euro in August, up by a nominal 2.8% year-on-year.
In real terms, gross wages increased 2.8% year-on-year and were 1.4% higher on the month, after remaining unchanged on the year and shrinking 0.1% on the month in July.
