April 18 (SeeNews) - The average net monthly earnings in Slovenia decreased by a real 1.0% on the year in February, after growing by the same rate in January, provisional data from the country's statistical office showed on Tuesday.
In nominal terms, the average net wage rose 1.2% year-on-year, reaching 1,034.20 euro ($1,034.2) in February, the data showed.
On a monthly comparison basis, net wages dropped by a real 1.5% in February, after falling 2.7% in January.
The average gross monthly salary in Slovenia was 1,581.37 euro in February, up by a nominal 0.5% year-on-year.
In real terms, gross wages fell 1.7% year-on-year and were an equal 1.7% lower on the month in February, after edging up 0.8% on the year and dropping 3.1% on the month in January.
