August 16 (SeeNews) - Average net monthly earnings in Slovenia grew by a real 0.9% year-on-year in June, as compared to a 2% annual increase the month before, statistics office data showed on Tuesday.
In nominal terms, the average net wage increased 1.2% on the year to 1,019 euro ($1,147) in June, the data showed.
On a monthly basis, net wages decreased by a real 0.4% in June, following a 1.4% drop in May.
The average gross monthly salary in the country was 1,564 euro in June, up a nominal 1.3% on the year. In real terms, gross wages rose 1% on the year and shrank 0.4% on the month, following an increase of 2.2% annually and 1.5% monthly drop in May.
