June 15 (SeeNews) - The average net monthly earnings in Slovenia edged down by a real 0.2% on the year in April, after rising at an equal rate in March, provisional data from the country's statistical office showed on Thursday.
In nominal terms, the average net wage increased 1.6% year-on-year, reaching 1,038.05 euro ($1,161.4) in April, the data showed.
On a monthly comparison basis, net wages dropped a real 2.0% in April, after climbing 1.7% in March.
The average gross monthly salary in Slovenia was 1,591.01 euro in April, up by a nominal 1.3% year-on-year.
In real terms, gross wages fell 0.5% year-on-year and 2.3% on the month in April, after remaining unchanged on an annual basis and rising 2.3% on the month in March.
