April 27 (SeeNews) - Registrations of new commercial vehicles in Slovenia dropped by an annual 15.8% to 2,917 in the first three months of this year, the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association, ACEA, said on Wednesday.
Registrations of new light commercial vehicles of up to 3.5 tonnes fell by 21.5% on the year to 2,278 vehicles in the January-March period, ACEA said in a statement, citing provisional data.
Registrations of new medium and heavy commercial vehicles of over 3.5 tonnes rose 19.5% on the year to 622 in the period under review.
New commercial vehicle registrations in the EU, excluding Malta, fell by 18.1% year-on-year to 411,097 in the first three months of this year.
In EU12, which encompasses member states that have joined the EU since 2004, registrations were 8.9% lower at 56,160.
