February 27 (SeeNews) - Slovenian civil engineering company Pomgrad has signed a 1.5 million euro ($1.6 million) contract for the construction of a cycle path in the municipality of Sveta Trojica, the municipal government said.
Under the contract, Pomgrad will build a 3.8 km-long bike path crossing the settlements of Zgornji Porcic, Sveta Trojica, Zgornje Verjane and Osek, the Sveta Trojica municipality said in a statement on Friday.
The project also includes the construction of banks with supporting structures, four bridges, drainage, road lighting, and road equipment with vertical and horizontal signaling.
The construction works will be co-financed by the Slovenian central government and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), while the municipality's share in fianancing will amount to 560,000 euro.
