July 9 (SeeNews) - Slovenian brewer Pivovarna Lasko Union (PLU) said its net profit soared 35% to 20.3 million euro ($22.7 million) in 2018.
The company's net sales revenue rose 6.5% to 153.1 million euro on the back of higher exports, PLU said in its 2018 annual report published on Monday.
Sales on foreign markets contributed 26% of total net sales last year, up four percentage points compared to 2017.
Operating costs rose 2.4% to 128 million euro in 2018.
PLU also said that its sales in terms of volume on the Slovenian market rose 3.2% last year, while sales abroad grew 23%.
PLU is 100%-owned by Dutch brewer Heineken.
