December 17 (SeeNews) - Slovenian energy group Petrol [LJE:PETG] targets a 158.3 million euro ($179.3 million) net profit and 5.9 billion euro sales revenue in 2021, it said on Friday.
"The plan for 2022 assumes that the energy product price growth will settle down and that governments will adopt various measures to promote economic activity and consumption level," Petrol said in a statement on Friday.
The group sees its gross profit at 643.9 million euro next year, and EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation) of 297.8 million euro, Petrol said.
The net debt/EBITDA ratio is seen at 1.6 percentage points.
Petrol plans to achieve the 2021 goals by selling 3.6 million tonnes of petroleum products, 162,400 tonnes of liquefied petroleum gas, 24.2 TWh of natural gas, and merchandise in the amount of 532.2 million euro, as well as by producing, trading and selling electricity and offering energy and environmental solutions, the company said.
The company recorded a consolidated net profit of 91.2 million euro in the first nine months of 2021, up from 40.5 million euro in the like period of last year, backed by successful adaptation of sales to market conditions and effective cost management.
