August 25 (SeeNews) - Slovenian energy company Petrol [LJE:PETG] said on Friday its consolidated net profit increased 6% year-on-year to 34.0 million euro ($40.1 million) in the first half of 2017.
Consolidated sales jumped 26% to 2.2 billion euro in the six months through June, while EBITDA increased 10% to 72.4 million euro, Petrol said in a bourse filing.
The group generated 56% of its EBITDA from the sale of petroleum products, 19% from the sale of merchandise, 16% from energy and environmental systems, 6% from the sale of liquefied petroleum gas and 3% percent from the sale of and trading in other energy products.
At the end of the first half of 2017, the Petrol Group operated over 490 service stations, of which 316 in Slovenia, 106 in Croatia, 37 in Bosnia and Herzegovina, 10 in Serbia, 10 in Montenegro and 11 in Kosovo.
