November 19 (SeeNews) - The Slovenian parliament approved a revision of the 2022 and 2023 budgets envisaging higher revenues in both years, the government said.
Following the revision, the 2022 budget envisages revenues of 11.47 billion euro ($12.96 million), 4.2% more than the original plan, while in 2023 the revenues are seen at 11.84 billion euro, up 3.3%, the Slovenian government said in a statement on Thursday.
Budget expenditures are seen at 13.94 billion euro in 2022, 10.7% more than in the initial version of the budget, while for 2023 they are down by 580 million euro to 13.36 billion euro, the government said.
The government did not provide data about the planned deficit for 2022 and 2023.
The amended 2022 budget raises by 352 million euro spending for transport and transport infrastructure and increases by 157 million euro expenses for environment protection. A total of 115 million euro more are allocated to healthcare expenses.
