March 21 (SeeNews) - Outgoing traffic from mobile telephony networks in Slovenia decreased by 5.6% in 2022 to 5.145 billion minutes, the country’s statistical office said.
There were some 2.674 million mobile network users in the country at the end of December, up 2.6% on an annual basis, the office said in a statement on Monday.
In 2022, the outgoing voice traffic from fixed networks, including national and international outgoing fixed traffic, decreased by 18.7% to some 281.8 million minutes.
At the end of December, there were 682,995 broadband internet connections, up by 1.7% compared to end-2021.
A total of 2.248 billion SMS messages were sent in 2022, down 1.5%.
Slovenia has a population of 2.1 million.
