September 21 (SeeNews) - Outgoing traffic from mobile telephony networks in Slovenia decreased by 5.4% year-on-year in the first half of 2023 to 2.517 billion minutes, the country’s statistical office said.
There were some 2.7 million mobile network users in the country at the end of June, up 2.4% on an annual basis, the office said in a statement on Wednesday.
In the first half, the outgoing voice traffic from fixed networks, including national and international outgoing fixed traffic, decreased by 16.8% to some 125.8 million minutes.
At the end of June, there were 680,118 broadband internet connections, up by 1.3% compared to end-June 2022.
A total of 1.051 billion SMS messages were sent in the first quarter, down 8.9%.
Slovenia has a population of 2.1 million.
