March 19 (SeeNews) - Slovenia's sole nuclear power plant Krsko produced 467,488 MWh of electricity net in February, 1.63% above plan, the plant operator said.
Gross electricity output totalled 491,005.8 MWh last month, Krsko said in a statement on Friday.
In December, Krsko said it will exceed its 2017 production target of 5,900 GWh of electricity.
In 2016, the plant beat its production target by 0.6%, generating 5,431 GWh net.
The power plant was built in Slovenia near the border with Croatia in the 1970s when the two countries were still part of the former Yugoslav federation. The two neighbours share the power plant's output.
