August 17 (SeeNews) - Slovenia's sole nuclear power plant Krsko produced 510,028 MWh of electricity net in July, 2% above plan, the plant operator said.
Gross electricity output totalled 535,889 MWh in July, Krsko said in a statement posted on its website on Wednesday.
A total of 4.8 cubic metres of low and intermediate-level radioactive waste was stored in July, Krsko said.
Krsko NPP, located in Slovenia near the border with Croatia, generates some 40% of Slovenia's electricity output. It operates a Westinghouse pressurised light water reactor of 2,000 MW thermal power capacity.
