November 23 (SeeNews) - Slovenia's sole nuclear power plant Krsko produced 507,913 MWh of electricity net in October, 2.6% above plan, the plant operator said.
Gross electricity output totalled 536,331 MWh in October, Krsko said in a statement.
A total of 5.7 cubic metres of low and intermediate-level radioactive waste was stored in October, Krsko said.
Krsko NPP, located in Slovenia near the border with Croatia, generates some 40% of Slovenia's electricity output. It operates a Westinghouse pressurised light water reactor of 2,000 MW thermal power capacity.
