November 27 (SeeNews) - Slovenia's sole nuclear power plant Krsko produced 511,251.8 MWh of electricity net in October, 3.28% above plan, the plant operator said.
Gross electricity output totalled 540,517.2 MWh last month, Krsko said in a statement.
Krsko reconnected to the grid on May 2, following planned maintenance works which started on April 1. The operations included refuelling, regular maintenance and nine major technological upgrades.
The power plant holds regular maintenance works every 18 months. It delivered 8.37 billion kWh of electricity to the grid over the last 18-month fuel cycle, 0.44% above plan.
Krsko was built in Slovenia near the border with Croatia in the 1970s, when the two countries were still part of the former Yugoslavia. The two neighbours share the power plant's output.
