February 25 (SeeNews) - Slovenia's Nova Ljubljanska Banka d.d. (NLB) [LJE:NLBR] plans to distribute 92.2 million euro ($112.7 million) of last year's profit as dividend in 2021, it said.
NLB already has the approval to pay 25 million euro in dividend as per European Central Bank's minimum requirement, whereas the distribution of the remaining capital as dividend to shareholders is subject to regulatory approval, the bank said in a statement on Wednesday.
The bank added that NLB Group, of which it is part, reported profit before impairments and provisions of 210.5 million euro in 2020, down 1% year-on-year. The group's total net operating income amounted to 504.5 million euro, down 2% on the year.
The acquisition of Serbia's Komercijalna Banka at the end of December added 4.3 billion euro to NLB Group’s balance sheet, bringing its total assets to 19.6 billion euro, Nova Ljubljanska Banka said.
NLB's shares traded 1.84% higher at 49.90 euro by 1019 CET on Thursday on the Ljubljana bourse.
Elsewhere in Southeast Europe, NLB Group is active in Bosnia, North Macedonia, Kosovo, Serbia and Montenegro.
